Princess Grace: Style Icon

The wardrobe of Princess Grace of Monaco will go on display at London’s Victoria & Albert museum next spring. On display will be dresses from many of her most famous films, including High Society and ‘Rear Window’, as well as outfits worn during her time as Princess of the small principality located on the French Riviera.

The exhibition, which will be sponsored by jewelers Van Cleef & Arpels, is appropriately being called ‘Grace Kelly: Style Icon’. It will be arranged into three sections, tracing her evolution from silver screen star to real-life princess. Archive film and video footage, film posters, family photographs, film clips and magazines will complete this close-up study of a woman who became a global fashion icon.

If you’re planning a trip to London between April 17th and September 26th you should make every effort to see this spectacular showing. Admission to the Victoria & Albert Museum is £6. You can book tickets in advance online at http://www.vam.ac.uk.
