It’s been a week since a devastating earthquake hit the small island nation of Haiti.  Don’t let time dim the urgency in your minds.  Haiti still needs our help.  Below I am reposting a list of relief organizations that have mobilized to assist those affected by this natural disaster.  Funds are needed to provide enough safe water, temporary shelter and vital medical supplies.

– UNICEF. Go online to unicefusa.org/haitiquake or call (800) 4UNICEF.
– Red Cross. Go online to redcross.org and click Donate, or call (800) REDCROSS.
– Direct Relief International. Donate online at directrelief.org.
– Mercy Corp. Go online to mercycorps.org or mail checks to Haiti Earthquake Fund, Dept. NR, PO Box 2669, Portland, Ore. 97208 or call (888) 256-1900
– Yele.org is musician Wyclef’s foundation to benefit his homeland Haiti. You can visit the site to donate or text YELE to 501501 to donate $5
– Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières. Online at doctorswithoutborders.org, choose from several different donation options.
