Burberry Thrilled In London Saturday, Feb 27 2010

As usual Burberry had the show to see during London Fashion Week.  I loved the jackets which were a mix of military inspired styles in great colors. Over the knee boots are not going anywhere and who would want them to when they make your legs look five miles long?

NYFW2010 – L’Wren Scott Thursday, Feb 25 2010

This was one of my favorite collections.  Feminine and flirty the pieces were office and cocktail party ready.  It left me wishing I had Oprah’s charge card for the day.

NY Fashion Week Wrap-Up Saturday, Feb 20 2010

NY Fashon Week’s last parade under the tent at Bryant Park was everything that I hoped it would be. Although the week started off on a somber note, with the apparent suicide of design maverick Alexander McQueen, things quickly picked up as fashion’s best and brightest showed their latest collections.

RIP Alexander McQueen Friday, Feb 12 2010

I cannot express how deeply the news of Alexander McQueen’s death affected me.  Although I would classify myself as a staunch traditionalist, McQueen had an unconventional creative spirit that I have long admired.  He bucked traditions with stunning success and made it cool not to conform.  He will be missed.
