Julia Restoin-Roitfeld was literally born into fashion.  Her mother, Carine Roitfeld, is Editor for French Vogue  and her father, Christian Restoin, is a successful fashion entreprenuer.  With her stellar pedigree and having graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York she is poised to one day be a force in her own right.

We have finally arrived at Spring!  Time to pack up the heavy winter gear and lighten things up in your closet. 

Here’s a few of my favorite Spring 2010 trends.

  1. Remember the power of a great Black and White combo.
  2. Think nautical. Striped tops, boat neck collars, and navy twill pants. Nautical charms look great on bracelets and necklaces.
  3. Military inspired jackets. A good rule to follow when choosing is if your top-heavy avoid chest pockets. Opt for epaulets on the shoulders instead. 
  4. Keep your make-up sheer and natural.
